Juan Hernandez

Juan G. Hernandez, age 91, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on October 25, 2021, in Hondo, Texas. Juan was born in Dunlay, Texas on November 5, 1929, to Guiermo and Bruna Hernandez.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents: Guiermo and Bruna Hernandez; grandson: Kenneth Vosquez; stepdaughter: Maria Inez Luna; stepson: David Martinez; sister: Maria Sanchez; and brothers: Eduardo Hernandez, and Lorenzo Hernandez.

Juan is survived by his loving wife: Carmen Hernandez; daughter: Janie Vosquez (Anestacio); stepson: Salvador Martinez (Erlinda); 12 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Hondo Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at St. John’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
