Adelina Gonzales

Adelina Gonzales, age 71, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on October 6, 2023, in San Antonio. Adelina was born in Hondo, Texas on October 3, 1952, to Guadalupe and Manuel Gonzales.

Adelina is preceded in death by her parents: Manuel and Maria Guadalupe Gonzales; sister: Petra Contreras; brothers: Manuel Gonzales, Jr., and Pete H. Gonzales; and grandparents: Elena Vara Gonzales, and Pedro Gonzales.

Adelina is survived by her sons: Rojelio Alcaraz, Jr. (John Marcus Turpin), and Ruben Alcaraz (Carlos Zapien); daughter: Angela Marie Alcaraz; grandchildren: Kobee Dalton Levine, Celeste Marie Levine, and Benito Raphael Levine; sister: Belia Leyva; and brothers: Trinidad Gonzales (the late Alicia), Crescencio Gonzales (Alicia), and Armando Gonzales (Juana).

A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
