Adelina Pimentel, of Hondo, Texas, age 81, passed away on November 25, 2019 in Hondo, Texas. Adelina was born on August 31, 1938 in Hondo, Texas to Tomas Velasquez Sr. and Soledad Gonzales Velasquez.
Adelina is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Pedro Pimentel Sr.; sister: Maria Soledad Polanco; and brother: Thomas Velasquez Jr.
Adelina is survived by her sons: Pedro Pimentel Jr. and James Pimentel (Laura); daughter: Yvette Pimentel Flores (Onesimo); sister: Lupe Villarreal; grandchildren: Alyssa Nichole Pimentel, Julina Krysten Pimentel-Flores, Juliza Brooks Pimentel-Flores, Leland James Pimentel, Aiden Lenix Pimentel, Jared Domingo Pimentel and Pedro Pimentel III; sisters-in-law: Carmen Gonzales (Enrique) and Lydia Tapia; and brother-in-law: Guadalupe Pimentel (Vangie).
A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Hondo Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019 at St. John’s Catholic Church. An interment will follow in Hondo Cemetery.
