Celia (Cortez) Garcia

Celia Garcia, age 75, of D’Hanis, Texas, passed away on January 29, 2023, in D’Hanis. Celia was born in D’Hanis, Texas on January 21, 1948, to Amelia and Loreto Cortez.

Celia is preceded in death by her husband: Roman Garcia; and parents: Loreto and Amelia Cortez.

Celia is survived by her son: Orlando Garcia; daughter: Lucinda Garcia-Martinez (Ralph); and 3 grandchildren: Jaime and Rafael Garcia, and Daniel Martinez.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by recitation of the rosary at 9:30 a.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at San Francisco Cemetery.
