David B. Medellin, age 81, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on August 1, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. David was born in San Antonio on May 22, 1939 to Pedro and Monica Bueno Medellin.
David is preceded in death by his parents: Pedro and Monica Bueno Medellin; son: David Medellin, Jr.; sisters; Juanita Lebron, and Diana Cruz; and brothers: Fernando Medellin and Edward Medellin.
David is survived by his loving wife: Mary Alice Medellin; sons: Lawrence G. Medellin, Charles B. Medellin, and Peter Thomas Anthony Medellin; daughters: Maisabella Medellin, Susan Upchurch (Mark), Cecelia Quiroz (Alex), and Melissa L. Medellin; stepdaughter: Frances Marie Ramirez (Geiner); brothers: Pedro Medellin, Jr., Paul Medellin, Benjamin Medellin, and Joseph Medellin; and sisters: Maria Salmon, and Consuelo Bernal.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, with rosary recited at 11:00 a.m. at Hondo Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at Hondo Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at Ft. Sam National Cemetery.
