Donald John Cortez Jr. was born November 27, 1971 in San Antonio, Texas. He was called home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2018.
He is survived by his mother Jo Ann Martinez Cortez and father Donald John Cortez Sr. and wife Mary Jane Cortez. His two brothers: Steve Cortez and Edward Rodriguez; step- brothers: Edward Navarro, Bobby Lee Esquivel and step-sister: Dawn Nicole Leal; children: Felicia, Brandon, Afton, and Asher Cortez. As well as his grandchildren: Alyssa Regino, Aliyah Simmons, and Jameson Cortez.
He is preceded in death by his dear wife: Leslie Cortez.
A rosary and mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church located at 7893 Grissom Road, San Antonio, Texas 78251 on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. A reception will follow at Pueblo Hall located at 3315 Northwestern, San Antonio, Texas 78238 at noon.
