Eva (Villarreal) Martinez

Eva Martinez, age 74, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on January 12, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Eva was born in McAllen, Texas on September 25, 1947, to Isabel Villarreal Moya and Cecil Villarreal.

Eva is preceded in death by her parents: Cecil Villarreal, and Isabel Villarreal Moya; and brother: Margarito Villarreal.

Eva is survived by her husband: Patricio Martinez; sons: Patrick Martinez (Rosalinda), and Alfredo Martinez (Martha); daughters: Connie Macial (Julius), JoAnn Lopez (Jimmy), and Marilyn Mann (Charles); sisters: Isabel Falcon, and Leonor Villarreal Garza; 15 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022, followed by recitation of the rosary at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022, at St. John’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo cemetery.
