Gilverto C. Gauna, age 75, of Yancey, Texas, passed away on March 11, 2021 in Yancey, Texas. Gilverto was born in Hondo, Texas on October 9, 1945 to Maria and Abelino Gauna.

Gilverto is preceded in death by his sister: Maria Elena Garza.

Gilverto is survived by his loving wife: Corina Gauna; his son: Gilbert Gauna, Jr.; his daughters: Rebecca Adams (Henry Adams, Jr.), Soyla Guajardo; his sisters: Rosalinda Johnston, and Juanita Moncada; his brothers: Mario Gauna, Jose Gauna, and Elias Gauna; 8 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

A prayer service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Hondo Funeral Home.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
