Jerry Wayne French Sr. “Bubba”
76 years young.
Born: March 23, 1947, in Goose Creek, Texas to Willie Gene French and Elsie Louise Leonard.
Jerry lived life to the fullest, loved his people and the Lord. He made the most of his life and was a very kind and loving person.
He is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Johnson, and Geneva Taschery. His daughters Rhonda Whorton and Kimberly Hutton, son Jerry French, Jr., and daughter Sherrece Anderson and many grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Willie Gene French, Elsie Louise Lipinsky, Jonathan Crane (grandson)...Janice and Sharon French (sisters)…Carylon Sue French
He was a proud Sky Soldier - Airborne Para Trooper. He received 2 purple hearts and worked under General West Moorland in 1967. 75% of his infantry was killed, 11 Bravo Light Weapons Infinity. He was in an elite part of the service and is mentioned several times and pictured in a book called "Blood on the Risers" by John Leppelman. He went by Frenchy!
Jerry loved his church family, close friends and riding his toys.
