Jesus F. Luna, Jr. age 70, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on May 19, 2021 in Hondo, Texas. Jesus was born in Hondo, Texas on July 22, 1950 to Jesus B. and Dolores Luna, Sr.
Jesus is preceded in death by his wife: Maria Inez Luna; parents: Jesus B. and Dolores Luna, Sr.; son Martin Luna; and brothers: Reymundo Luna and Eusebio Luna.
Jesus is survived by his sons: Jesus Joe Luna and Michael David Luna (Jennifer); daughters: Selma Douglas (Robert) and Yvonne Michelle Santellan (Stephen);stepdaughter: Veronica Ramirez-Salazar (Marcos); sisters: Olivia Luna Morin (Miguel) and Julia Luna Morales (Pete); brothers: Avaristo Luna (Alicia) and Juan Jose Luna; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Hondo Funeral Home. The Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 at St. John’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
