Jose Amador Hernandez

Jose Amador Hernandez age 73, of D’Hanis, Texas, passed away on April 9, 2021 in D’Hanis, Texas. Jose was born in Mexico on September 14, 1947 to Octaviano and Maria Teresa Hernandez.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents: Octaviano and Maria Teresa Hernandez; brothers: Octaviano Hernandez, Jr. and Frank Hernandez; sisters: Elizabeth Hernandez, Bertha Hernandez, and JoAnn Robles.

Jose is survived by his daughters: Norma Hernandez and Nicolasa Hernandez; mother of his daughters: Eva Hernandez; granddaughters: Samantha and Terri Saldana; and sisters: Lydia Eguia (Joe), Rosa Alderete (The late Tony), Elida Cuellar, Terri Hernandez, and Irma Hernandez (John).

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Hondo Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Hondo Funeral Home, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
