Jose “Joe” R. Gomez, age 51, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on November 10, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Joe was born in Castroville, Texas on March 29, 1971, to Roberto and Narcisa Gomez.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents: Roberto and Narcisa Gomez.
Joe is survived by his loving wife: Michelle Gomez; son: Jose Gomez, Jr.; daughters: Mary Valles (Jacob), Maria Gomez (Isaiah Rodriguez), Jessica Gomez (Christian Barrios), and Zoey Gonzales; brother: Steve Gomez; and granddaughters: Alizah Valles and Aaliyah Valles.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. followed by recitation of the rosary at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at St. John’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at St. John’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
