Josefina Rodriguez

Josefina S. Rodriguez, age 79, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on April 29, 2021 in Hondo, Texas. Josefina was born in Hondo, Texas on May 14, 1941 to Jose L. and Maria Santos.

Josefina is preceded in death by her parents: Jose L. and Maria Santos; sons: Paul Leyva and Edward Leyva; and sister: Agedita Reyes.

Josefina is survived by her sons: Joe Leyva, Albert Leyva (Lillian), Felix Leyva, Jr., and Norby Leyva; her daughter: Nelda Garcia (Oscar); her sisters: Sofia Leyba (Chuy), Lydia Ibarra, Esperanza Campos, Carolina Castillo, Pauline Avila (Genaro), Belia Benavides, and Vangie Pimentel (Lupe); her brothers: Amador Santos and Joe Santos; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Hondo Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Hondo Funeral Home, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
