Magdalena Garcia

Magdalena Garcia, age 91, went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2019. Magdalena was born on August 14, 1927 in Biry, Texas to Louis and Augustina Gonzales.

Magdalena is preceded in death by her husband: Carlos Garcia, Sr.; son: Louis R. Garcia (Dolores); grandsons: Donovan Garcia and Gabriel Garcia; granddaughter: Josette Contreras and Margaret Garcia; Great-Great Grandson: Jordan Salinas, and brother: Antonio Gonzales

Magdalena is survived by her sons: Carlos Garcia, Jr. (Estella), Robert Garcia (Mary), Arnulfo Garcia (Amparo), Adolfo Garcia (Lydia), Richard Garcia, Simon Garcia (Beatriz), and Danny Garcia (Lita); sisters: Eloisa Chin (The Late Homer), Esther Cochran (Bob), Gloria Martinez (Richard) and Sophia Cochran (Douglas); brother: Emilio Gonzales; 30 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and 52 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service held at 7:00 p.m. at Hondo Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service held at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hondo. An interment will follow in Hondo Cemetery.
