Manuel L. Garcia

Manuel "Meme" Lopez Garcia., age 73, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on June 22, 2023, in San Angelo. Manuel was born in Hondo, Texas on April 3, 1950, to Reymundo H., and Josefina Lopez Garcia.

Manuel is preceded in death by his parents: Reymundo H. and Josefina Lopez Garcia; sister: Irma D. Carmona; brothers: Reymundo Garcia, Jr., and Armando Garcia.

Manuel is survived by his sister: El Vira Flores (Rogelio), and numerous nieces, and nephews. A special thanks to San Angelo nursing and rehab for their tremendous patience and love they demonstrated to our wonderful uncle. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Hondo Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
