Mario M. Alfaro, Sr.

Mario Manuel Alfaro, Sr., age 62, of Lytle, Texas, passed away on September 7, 2023, in La Coste, Texas. Mario was born in Castroville, Texas on October 17, 1960, to Anita C. and Cipriano R. Alfaro, Sr.

Mario is preceded in death by his parents: Anita and Cipriano R. Alfaro, Sr.; and sisters: Norma Linda Alfaro, and Christina Alfaro (infant).

Mario is survived by his wife: Uvelia Alfaro; son: Mario M. Alfaro, Jr. (Tanya); daughters: Jessica Luna (Juan), Margarita Alfaro, and Anita Alfaro; sisters: Celia Sandoval (Juan), Isabel Fuentes (Pete), Jeannette Solis (Guadalupe), Lupe Silva (Daniel), Rachel Alfaro, and Sophie Alfaro; brothers: Cipriano Adolpho Alfaro, Jr. (Dorenda), and Eddie Alfaro (Angie); grandchildren: Halie Alfaro, Natalie Alfaro, Robert Martin, Jr., Dawon Luna, Kendrik Escamilla, Kaeden Escamilla, Kylie Luna, Pedro Luna, Jr., and Hazel Alfaro; 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at St. John's Catholic Church on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., followed by recitation of the rosary at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, followed by interment at Lytle Community Cemetery.
