Miguel R. Morin, Jr., age 81, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on June 7, 2022, in Hondo. Miguel was born in Hondo, Texas on May 8, 1941, to Elena R. and Miguel O. Morin, Sr.
Miguel is preceded in death by his parents: Elena and Miguel Morin, Sr.; brothers: Ramiro Morin, and Ernesto Morin; and sister: Eva Ramirez.
Miguel is survived by his loving wife: Olivia Morin; sons: Ruben Morin (Jezzena), and Rolando Morin (Laurie); daughters: Dora DeLeon (the late Xavier), Olga Tapia, and Irma Morin; sister: Yolanda Espinosa; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by recitation of the rosary at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2022, at Hondo Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2022, at Hondo Funeral Home, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
