Oscar O. Puente

Oscar O. Puente, age 61, of Hondo, Texas, formerly of Sabinal, passed away on February 29, 2024, in Hondo. Oscar was born in Uvalde, Texas on September 13, 1962, to Angelita and Felipe T. Puente, Sr.

Oscar is preceded in death by his parents: Angelita and Felipe T. Puente, Sr.

Oscar is survived by his brothers: Felipe T. Puente, Jr., Robert Puente, and Edward Puente; sisters: Mary Helen Garcia (Augustin), and Rosie Puente; niece and nephews: Jessica Puente (Johnny), Joshua Garcia (Flavia), and Gabriel Puente (Stephanie); and great-nephew: Johnny Joe.

A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at St Patrick Catholic Church in Sabinal, Texas, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at St Patrick Cemetery.
