Petra Garza Guajardo, age 68, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on July 15, 2020 in Hondo, Texas. Petra was born in Hondo on August 1, 1951 to Jose and Maria Jesusa Constante Garza.
Petra is preceded in death by her parents: Jose and Maria Jesusa Garza; sister: Andrea Del Toro, and brothers: Nicholas Garza and Juan Garza.
Petra is survived by her loving husband: Raymundo A. Guajardo, Jr.; sons: Johnny Guajardo (Sylvia) and Ray “Mooney” Guajardo, III (Annie); daughters: Michelle Cuellar (Felimon) and Lisa Esquivel (Luis); sister: Teodora Rivera (the late Jose); brother: David Garza (Leticia); 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with rosary recited at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Hondo Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at St. John’s Catholic Church.
An interment will follow at Hondo Cemetery.
