Raul is preceded in death by his father: Raul Gonzales Sr., mother: Louisa Gonzales, and brothers: Theodoro Gonzales, Jose Luis Gonzales, and Jesus Gonzales.
He is survived by his brother: Rojelio Gonzales, sisters: Elmira Alderete, Oralia Espinoza, and Nelda Ybarra. As well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
