Richard Correa, Sr., age 68, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on April 11, 2025, in Hondo. Richard was born in Hondo, Texas, on September 5, 1956, to Consuelo and Jose Correa, Sr.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents: Consuelo and Jose Correa, Sr.; brothers: Bobby Correa, and Joe Correa, Jr.; and sisters: Ernestina Martinez, and Janie Navarro.

Richard is survived by his loving wife: Josie Correa; sons: Richard Correa, Jr., Joseph Correa, and Jimmy Correa; daughter: Amanda Correa Garza; sisters: Rebecca Sanchez, and Estella Quintanilla and husband; brother: Candelario Correa and wife: numerous grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Services are under the Direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
