Tomas “Pelon” F. Escamilla, Jr., age 66, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on September 22, 2021, in San Antonio. Tomas was born in Hondo, Texas on May 29, 1955, to Maria and Tomas Escamilla, Sr.
Tomas is preceded in death by his wife: Guadalupe “Trinket” Escamilla; parents: Tomas, Sr, and Maria Escamilla; and sisters: Sylvia Escamilla, and Lydia Escamilla.
Tomas is survived by his sons: Trey Thomas Escamilla (Carrie), and Brian Quentin Escamilla (Kimberly); daughter: Yvette Barrientes (Ernest); sister: Gloria Sauceda; brother: Jerry Escamilla (Nannette); numerous grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. followed by recitation of the rosary at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Hondo Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Hondo Funeral Home, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
