Trinidad Hernandez

Trinidad L. Hernandez, of Hondo, Texas, age 86, passed away on April 24, 2020 in Hondo, Texas. Trinidad was born on June 11, 1933 in Biry, Texas to Petro and Tomasa Lara.

Trinidad is preceded in death by her Husband: Margarito R. Hernandez; Parents: Petro and Tomasa Lara; Brothers: Felipe Lara, Sarapio Lara, Frank Lara, Pedro Lara, Paz Lara, and Jesse Flores; and Sister: Mary Elena Mascarro.

Trinidad is survived by her loving Daughters: Mary Ann Garcia (Mario), Annabel Lopez (Jerry), Elsie H. Ybarra (Ben Ybarra-deceased); Sons: Ruben Hernandez (Janie), Johnny Joe Hernandez (Terry); Brother: Juan Gonzales; Nieces: Melissa Puentes (Roberto), and Alicia Luna (Eversito); 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in the main chapel at Hondo Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Hondo Cemetery.

Funeral services can proceed with immediate family members but should not exceed more than 10 people (this number is per CDC guidance). Social distancing (six feet) should be observed as much as possible.
