Virginia "Jenny" Ruth Gibson (Hendley)

Virginia Ruth Gibson, also known as Jenny, peacefully passed away on October 15, 2023, in Hondo, Texas, at the age of 63. She was born on January 30, 1960, in Akron, Ohio, to Thornton and Sharon Hendley. Jenny was a kind, generous, and selfless individual who always fought for what she believed in. She had a natural empathy for others and was known for her love of animals.

Jenny had a passion for crafts, gardening, and was an avid animal lover. She found joy in creating beautiful crafts and tending to her garden. Her compassionate nature extended beyond humans, as she always went out of her way to care for and protect animals.

She will be deeply missed by her family and loved ones. Jenny is survived by her sons, Ronnie Gibson and Shawn Gibson, her sister Paula Hendley, her brother Butch Hendley, her partner David Haught Sr. and her daughter-in-laws Kelly Gibson and Sandra Elliott.

The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hondo Funeral Home located in Hondo, Texas. For those who wish to honor Jenny's memory, contributions can be made to St. Jude's, a cause that was close to her heart.
