Yvonne Garcia, age 44, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on April 13, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Yvonne was born in Hondo on April 24, 1977, to Elena and Rogelio Garcia.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Daniel and Julia Sanchez; and her paternal grandparents: Marcos and Beatrice Garcia.
Yvonne is survived by her husband: Antonio Aguilar; son: Ryan Anthony Martinez (Tara Fraga); daughter: Alexis Martinez (Danielle Sanchez); parents: Rogelio and Elena Garcia; sister: Thelma Gomez (Albert); brother: Jimmy Garcia; nieces: Ayla Garcia, and Ysela Gomez; nephews: Joseph Gomez, and Daniel Garcia; and great-nephew: Amare Garcia.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Hondo Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at St. John’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
